There are so many things to see and do in Phuket. With our years of local knowledge here on the island, Phuketgolf.net can simplify your holiday time so you find all the things you want to see and do without trial and error. This article focuses on things to do and attractions in Phuket.

Q: If we want a night out but want to keep away from the main areas, where would you suggest?
A: The main party/entertainment area is Patong, with Karon and Kata next in line for hustle and bustle. If you are looking for somewhere a bit quitter to enjoy an evening, areas to the north such as Kamala, Surin and Bang Tao; and areas to the south such as Chalong, Rawai and Nai Harn still have a great selection of bars and nightlife but are much more laidback, ideally suiting a couple.

Q: My kids love water parks, what are the best ones on the island?
A: Phuket is not really awash with water parks, excuse the pun, but the Splash Jungle Water Park in Mai Khao, which is in the north of the island, is a great place to take the kids. There are large pools and great selection of slides, all within a beachside location.

Q: Are there any theme parks in Phuket?
A: Again, because Phuket is an island, we don’t have a wide selection of theme parks. If you are looking for something interesting, the Phuket Fantasea Theme Park in Kamala is the island’s number-1 visited attraction. With lots of cabaret shows, amusements, food and drinks stalls and animals on show, this theme park is a great nights’ fun, also introducing you to the colorful history of Thailand along the way.

There are lots of things to see and do in Phuket when you are not playing golf, and at Phuketgolf.net, we can provide you with the best local knowledge. Please click here to begin your journey.
